Because online dating horror stories are more common than we realize, the Safer Online Dating Alliance is working with legislators and the public to educate others on online dating issues. If you have a story that will help others avoid becoming victims of robbery, date rape or worse, then please share your story with our community. Finally, if you are sexually assaulted by someone you met through an online dating service report it to the police and get help from your local rape crisis center.
